The first National Motor Camp was held in Southern Indiana in 2023. It was designed to be a bi-annual, national-scale event focusing on the experience of motoring and camping in the early 20th Century. The goal is to attempt to re-create some of the experiences of these first intrepid vacationers! The event is held in a different location each year and organizers change depending on location, so each time the event is held, it is completely different! Don’t miss a single one! 2025 is confirmed as a two-part event in the Lake Tahoe area of California!

Are you interested in hosting the 2027 National Motor Camp in your area? We are looking for a host somewhere in the eastern or southern United States. The location must be conducive to touring with antique automobiles, have adequate camping space, and sites of historical, vacation-themed significance. Two of our members are planning the ultimate road trip this summer! They have set up their Model T roadster pickups with period camping trailers! They plan to drive these cars with their trailers ALL THE WAY from the Midwest to Tahoe Lake for the National Motor Camp! Way to go! What an experience!
